In Japan's payroll system, your net salary is the amount you receive in your bank account after the necessary deductions have been made from your gross salary. These deductions include social insurance premiums such as public health insurance premiums, residence tax, income tax, etc.
Although these are necessary expenses, they add up to a considerable amount.

In Japan, it's commonly advised that your rent should be no more than 30% of your salary after taxes. However, if you work in an area with expensive rent, such as urban areas, you may not be able to afford the room you desire for that amount of money, and you may want to pay a little extra to live in a better room.

Basic living expenses such as food and daily necessities cannot be cut. Instead, try to hold back on your leisure expenses.
However, Japan's public medical insurance is comprehensive, and private insurance premiums are minimal if you live alone.
